RevOpt is a revenue and profit optimization business for the global hospitality industry. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We collect only the information you choose to give us.

Information you submit through our contact form. When you contact us through the website, we collect your name, your hotel or group, the number of rooms, and any message you send. We use this only to respond to your enquiry.

Basic technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, to keep the site secure and running. We do not use this to identify you personally.

Page visits. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are read. It sets no cookies, does not follow you between websites, and does not collect anything that identifies you personally.

We do not run a newsletter, we do not sell anything through this site, and we do not create user accounts.

We use the information you give us only to:

• respond to your enquiry and continue the conversation you started;
• keep a reasonable record of that correspondence;
• maintain the security and performance of the website.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not sell, rent, or trade it to anyone.

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing. We share it only:

• with service providers who help us operate the site and communicate with you — our website host, our email provider, and, where you have accepted analytics, Google — and only to the extent they need it to provide that service;
• where we are required to by law.

Your enquiry reaches us by email at info@getrevopt.com and is stored in our email system. Our website and its supporting services, including Google Analytics where you have accepted it, may process data on servers located outside India, including in the United States. Wherever your data is processed, we take reasonable steps to keep it protected.

We keep contact enquiries for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain a reasonable business record, after which we delete them. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.

We measure how the site is used in two ways, and they are not the same.

Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views for every visitor. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, does not follow you between websites and collects nothing that identifies you personally. Because there is nothing to consent to, it needs no permission.

Google Analytics is different: it does set cookies, and it sends data to Google. It is therefore not loaded at all unless you accept it. Until you do, nothing is requested from Google and no cookie is set. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, Google is never contacted and no record of your visit reaches it.

When it is running, Google Analytics records which pages you view, roughly where in the world you are, what browser and device you use, and whether you submitted the contact form. We use it to understand which pages are read and which lead to an enquiry. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not combine it with any other data.

We use no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking of any kind.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent stops Google Analytics from loading on your next visit.

You may ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct information that is wrong;
• delete your information;
• stop using your information.
